Weekdays 4pm-8pm and Saturday 9am-2pm or by appointment.
We are located at 3255 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Parking is available on-site.
Enrollment and Fees
Please send us a message here. Once submitted, we will contact you to schedule a 15-minute trial lesson.

Tuition is due in full at the beginning of each semester or you can pay monthly. Payments can be made via check to Betty Haag Academy of Music.
Attendance and Scheduling
We require a 24-hour notice for cancellations to reschedule the lesson. Lessons canceled with less than 24-hour notice will be charged in full. See our missed lesson policy here.
Yes, rescheduling is allowed with sufficient notice, subject to availability.
Makeup lessons are available for excused absences if canceled in advance. Please contact your instructor to arrange a makeup session.
Academy Guidelines
Please bring their instrument, lesson books, a notebook, and any assigned practice materials.
Yes. We work with many rental companies in the local community as well as provide a rental company at our location.
Yes, parents are meant to observe lessons and to stay engaged in their child’s progress. This is especially necessary for younger students. Suzuki violin works if there is a student, parent, and teacher relationship.
Performances and Events
Yes! We hold bi-annual recitals, one in the spring and one in the winter. These provide students with a valuable performance experience.
While not mandatory, we highly encourage students to participate to build confidence and showcase their progress.
Communication
You can reach your child’s instructor via email or phone. Their contact information will be provided at the first lesson.
We send out emails with important updates, event details, and schedule changes. Make sure you’re subscribed!
Practice Expectations
We recommend:
• Beginners: 15–30 minutes per day
• Intermediate: 30–45 minutes per day
• Advanced: 1 hour or more per day
Consistent practice is key to progress.
